LTE-advanced: < b > mobile broadband < /b > up to 10 times faster than LTE

Ericsson demonstrated LTE-advanced at speeds of more than 10 times faster than currently experienced by the LTE consumers in Sweden.

The system, based on commercial hardware operation on a test frequency provided by the points. This enabled Ericsson demonstrates LTE advanced features such as such as carrier aggregation of 3 x 20 MHz (60 MHz aggregated) over the air in a mobile environment for the first time. The first phase of the LTE-advanced are expected in commercial operation in 2013.
